Some Survivors May Be Contacted for Remote Home Inspections

COLUMBIA, S.C. - If you were affected by the April 12-13 severe storms, tornadoes and straight-line winds in Aiken, Colleton, Hampton, Marlboro, Oconee, Orangeburg and Pickens counties, you may be eligible for FEMA help.

Assistance provided by FEMA for homeowners and renters can include grants for rent and repairs to make their primary home habitable. It can also help other serious disaster-related needs like replacing essential household items, medical and dental expenses and funeral and burial costs.

WASHINGTON -- The whole-of-America response to fighting the COVID-19 pandemic continued today, as National Guardsmen provide much-needed support from Ohio to New Mexico.

Meanwhile, FEMA’s Region 3 office is coordinating medical supplies distribution from a Republic of Turkey donation. 

FEMA continues to expedite movement of commercially pre-sourced and procured critical supplies from the global market to medical distributors in various locations across the U.S. through Project Airbridge.

State, FEMA Continue Working on Tennessee Disaster Recovery

FEMA Announces Supplemental Funding Through CARES Act

FEMA Approves Crisis Counseling Assistance for COVID-19 Response to Four States

DENVER – FEMA has approved four states within FEMA Region 8 for development of crisis counseling programs for residents struggling with stress and anxiety as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.  The assistance is being made available to Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota and Utah and is available under major disaster declarations previously approved for these states by President Trump.

WASHINGTON – FEMA announced that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of South Carolina and ordered federal aid to supplement state, tribal, and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms, tornadoes and straight-line winds from April 12 to April 13, 2020.

The President's action makes federal funding available to affected individuals in Aiken, Colleton, Hampton, Marlboro, Oconee, Orangeburg, and Pickens counties.

El Administrador de FEMA aprueba 30 Estados para Consejería en Crisis

WASHINGTON-- Hoy, FEMA anunció que 30 estados y el Distrito de Columbia han sido aprobados para el programa de Asistencia y Capacitación de Consejería de Crisis. El programa ayuda a subvencionar los servicios de consejería de crisis provisto por el estado a residentes que luchan contra el estrés y la ansiedad como resultado de la pandemia COVID-19.
